Internet Explorer 6 and why it must die

Internet Explorer 6 was released in 2001, to tie-up with Windows XP. Beacuse of that operating system's ubiquity, it quickly gained 95 per cent market share - despite not being very good.
In the intervening years, technology has changed out of all recongnition and what is possible in web design has followed-suit. Unless you're still using Internet Explorer 6 (IE6).
- IE6 is the cause of the majority of security issues affecting Windows PCs
- IE6 doesn't show web sites that same way as other web browsers - so sites cost more to build
- This site uses some (we think) nifty tricks - that just don't work on IE6
